Andrew's Lil' Dunkers Class

Last week, Andrew started his basketball class for 3 and 4 year olds. Mike and I were actually in Vegas for the weekend, so Marcia took Andrew to his first class. She said was a little hesitant and stood on the sidelines until the end. Once class was over, he decided to hit the floor for a few shots. It's not unusual for him to feel out his surroundings before getting involved. This weekend, Mike and I took him, and he was already feeling more comfortable. He did all the drills and even played a short game (if that is what you want to call it!). We were really proud of him for getting out there. Whenever he sticks his tongue out, we know he is happy!

Halloween

It's been a crazy last few weeks, as I have pretty much been down and out with a bad virus. After a week or so, I went to the doctor and got antibiotics for a sinus infection, and I'm just now feeling better after 2 weeks. Mike and Andrew already had it, but I really struggled with that one.

Halloween was a lot of fun even though it was 28 degrees wind chill. It wasn't too bad once you got going around the neighborhood. My dad and Myrna came out again this year, and Andrew wanted to go trick or treating with the neighbor kids again. In the morning, Andrew went to daycare, wherethey all dressed up, as well.

That day we also did a Halloween event with Grandma and Grandpa Oberheim and his cousins.

That week, he also went to a class going "Going Batty" at the Discovery Center, where they learned about bats. They got to hear a story, fly like bats, find bats in a cave with flashlights, and eat a bat snack.
