First Field Trip (Apple Orchard)

The next morning, Andrew and I went back to pick raspberries.

First Basketball Game

Andrew has his first basketball game last week, and he did GREAT! When we got there, and I saw a ref, a score clock, and quite a few people in the stands, I wasn't sure how it would go, since he is so shy. Even though I had to sit next to the bench of players with him, he went out and ran up and down the court with the other kids. Big step from when he wouldn't get on the soccer field for the games last year! He has the skills to play, but he just needs the confidence to go with it!

Labor Day

We had a really great Labor Day weekend this year! We did our annual cookout at the park with Mike's family, and we all got together at my dad and Myrna's for a cookout, as her kids and grand kids were in town. She has 2 grandsons that are 3 and 5 years old, so Andrew is just in heaven when they are around. This was Andrew's first campfire and smores. All the pics below are from my dad's house.

First Day of Preschool (4 Year Olds)

Back to school! Andrew was excited for school up until the morning of. It took a bit to get him there, and he let me know how he really felt about it when I had to leave the classroom. It's a been a few weeks now, and his teachers say he is doing much better when I leave. That first day was really rough, though (on both of us!) I think he just got used to being home with mom all the time, because this is the same school and almost all the same students as last year.

Santa's Village

Favorite rollercoaster that we went on over and over again ( lost count!)

We lost "Wrinkles" at Santa's Village. Looked for him for an hour. Had to order this new "Wrinkles" from EBay for 99 cents.

He also went bowling with friends last weekend.

After bowling, I went to my first painting party!

Labor Day weekend at dad's house:

First slip and slide! Grandpa Gary demonstrated for him (yep, I have a video).
