First Plane Ride

Andrew went on his first plane ride with grandpa and loved it! My dad says he didn't make a peep, but when he landed, he said he had fun.

I also went out to Phoenix for a faculty conference the second week of June, and it was a much needed vacation. It was absolutely wonderful seeing all my old coworkers and revisiting some of our favorite restaurants. If it weren't for family, I think we would love to live out there again. The last evening of the conference, I also got to meet up with my friend, Amie, who I had not seen in years. We met in 2003 at the University of Phoenix. She has moved on to bigger and better things, but we still get together when we can! :)

4 kinds of bruschetta with a fruit and cheese plate. HEAVEN!

Tempe, how I miss you! :( Go Devils!

The trip would not be complete without some proper attire for fall.

...And a few more random pictures of summer fun:

2 holes in one and a free game at the end!

Golf

Andrew just completed a golf class again this spring, and this is probably one of his favorites sports so far (in addition to basketball). Right now, we are just trying out different sports and zoning in on those he likes best. Golf is definitely one of them!

In other exciting news, Andrew and I got our picture with a baby wolf at the Summerfield Zoo a couple of weeks ago. I'm too lazy to go get it from an attachment sent through email, so I will post a couple of other pics from the zoo that day. :)

Right now our house in on the market, which has been a bit of a headache. We are hoping to move closer to Mike's work, but if it doesn't sell, we will try again next spring. It has not been fun being so clean! Ha!

Last Day of Preschool

Well, Andrew's first year of school has come to an end, and he loved it more than I would ever guess! He cannot wait to be in the 4 year class this fall. He sees the kids in that class as the "big kids".

Here he was on his first day back in September.

His class put on a "closing ceremony" for parents and grandparents.

He has the cutest singing voice ever. One of my favorite videos... :)

His teachers created a really neat memory book for each child from the past year, which is a definite keepsake!
