Happy First Birthday, Andrew!

Well, the big day has come and gone! I am so happy with how well his party went. I decided to go with a small party with family, so he didn't get too overwhelmed with too many people. It was just my parents, Mike's parents, and Mike's brother and his wife and kids. All the stars must have aligned, because he woke up from his nap 10 minutes before the party and was in a great mood the whole time!

I have been decorating all week for his big day. I was so excited the few days before that I could hardly sleep (it's like I'm a kid again!). Here are some shots of the house before he woke up from his nap and the guests arrived.

After lunch, it was time for the cake.We lit the big 1 and sang Happy Birthday.....

After cake, it was time for presents!

After that, it was time to PARTY!

 

After a second nap, Andrew came out and checked out all his goodies....
